The handcrafted, eco-friendly Igluhuts Naava and Pihka are located in the heart of Nuuksio National Park, just 30 km (approx. 30 minutes) from Helsinki city centre and the airport.
Each Igluhut is built using traditional techniques combined with modern craftsmanship, entirely from natural materials. The exterior is made of spruce shingles, while the interior features aspen wood — over 2,500 shingles in total.
You can watch and even feed reindeer directly through your hut window — a truly unique nature experience.
The Igluhut includes:

Located right next to the national park, the hut offers immediate access to nature. Marked hiking trails start just around the corner. Finnish Nature Centre Haltia and Restaurant Haltia are approximately 1 km away.
Please note:
• Staff are not on site in the evenings
• Reindeer may only be fed lichen
• Pets are not allowed
• Real candles are strictly prohibited (LED candles only)
• There are no grocery stores inside the national park. Haltia Café/Restaurant is the closest option. Please check opening hours in advance.
