Nuuksio Reindeer Park is Finland's southernmost place where you can see reindeer. A private owned area is located inside Nuuksio National Park, about 30 min/30 km from Helsinki city center, 1 km from the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia. The entrance ticket includes lichen for feeding reindeer, campfire coffee and bun over an open fire in the Lappish Tepee and our staff tells you about reindeer. Private visits are possible to book at other times, please check availability by email.
PARKING SPACE: There is limited parking space at the Reindeer Park and the same parking place is also used by the guests of Karhunpesä cottage. Larger public parking place is in front of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia. You can also leave your car in the Safarihouse yard, address: Nuuksiontie 77, about 300 m before the reindeer park.
COVID-19: We pay special attention to the high level of cleaning our premises and disinfecting the contact surfaces, as well as paying attention to safe socal distancies. The Reindeer Park is outdoors in nature and a safe place to visit. However, if you recognize the symptoms of the flu in yourself, stay home.
