A unique overnight stay in an eco-friendly Igluhut at Nuuksio Reindeer Park, approximately 30 km (30 minutes by car) from the center of Helsinki and the airport.
You can watch the reindeer and feed them lichen directly from the window of your hut. The cozy hut for two features a double bed with linens, an eco-toilet, handwashing facilities, electric heating, a mini fridge for your own snacks, a kettle, drinking water, coffee, and tea. You will also receive a bucket of lichen to feed the reindeer.
The hut is compact and cozy, so there is no space for an extra bed. However, you can separately book an additional mattress or a travel bed for a child.
The accommodation includes a guided visit to the reindeer enclosure, which takes place upon your arrival.
Your booking starts at 3:00 PM and ends the next morning at 11:00 AM.
Please note that there are no grocery stores within the National Park. The nearest café/restaurant is at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, about one kilometer from the Reindeer Park. You can also order breakfast supplies and evening snacks from us in advance. The outdoor terrace has a gas grill available upon request.
