How to book:
• Choose your preferred date, then click the green “Add to basket” button and proceed to Checkout (MobilePay works only with Finnish phone numbers).
• Enter your contact details and select Visma Pay as your payment method (payment provider).
• Please tick “I agree to the current terms and conditions.”
• Finally, click Order and continue to payment, then choose Payment card to complete your booking (Visa or Mastercrad).

Visit duration: One hour is sufficient, as the site is not very large. Please arrive on the hour, if possible.

Family ticket €64, 2 adults + 1-2 children (4-11 yrs.), 0-3 yrs free of charge.

Includes: Lichen to feed the reindeer, as well as traditional campfire coffee (tea, juice) and a sweet bun served by the open fire in a cozy kota (Lappish hut). In December, we serve mulled wine (glögi) and gingerbread cookies.

Commuter trains U, E and L from Helsinki to Espoo
From Espoo railway station, take bus 245 or 245A towards Nuuksio

The bus stop is located right next to the train platforms
Get off at Punjonsuo stop (two stops after the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia)

From the stop, walk a short distance forward and turn right immediately after the pedestrian crossing into the reindeer park.

Follow the signs marked Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park.

Arriving by car:

There is a private parking area on our premises with limited capacity

A larger parking area is located in front of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia. Address: Nuuksiontie 84
From Haltia, you can also reach the reindeer park on foot by following the orange-marked nature trail towards Haukkalampi.

When you reach Nuuksiontie, turn right and then immediately right again uphill into the yard. There is a Karhunpesä sign and a large reindeer advertisement by the roadside. Nature trail length: approx. 1.5 km

Suitable for
The site is suitable for visitors of all ages. For guests with limited mobility, the terrain may be somewhat challenging, as access to the kota (Lappish hut) and the upper terrace includes sections of boardwalks and stairs.
Qualifications
Sea & Mountain Adventures Ltd has been operating in Nuuksio since 1994. The company provides meeting and nature-based programme services for groups, as well as accommodation and catering services. The reindeer arrived in Nuuksio in 2013. Our guides are experienced and highly professional nature and wilderness guides.
