Take part in the care of the reindeer together with the reindeer handler. You will prepare meals, feed them and clean the farm. Overalls, boots and work gloves are included. Participants 1-2 persons. Duration 1,5 hours. The operating time is agreed separately in advance.

The trip from Helsinki to Nuuksio Reindeer Park takes around an hour by public transport and 30–40 minutes by car.
You can reach Espoo from Helsinki by local trains U, E, and L. From Espoo station, bus 245(A) to Nuuksio departs right next to the train tracks. Get off at the Punjonsuo stop, which is two stops past the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia. From the bus stop, walk a short distance forward and turn right into the reindeer park immediately after the pedestrian crossing (sign: Karhunpesä and Nuuksio Reindeer Park).

For those arriving by car, there is a private parking area on our premises with limited space. A larger parking area is available in front of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, at Nuuksiontie 84.
DRIVING DIRECTION
Helsinki – Turku motorway – Nupurintie - Nuuksiontie
Turn right onto Kehä III (Ring III East) from the Turku motorway after passing IKEA. Take the first exit and turn left towards Veikkola. Drive under Kehä III and continue along Nupurintie (Road 110).
Drive about 5 km, then turn right towards Nuuksio/Solvalla. After passing Haltia, the Finnish Nature Centre (a brown wooden building on the left), drive 1.1 km and turn right immediately after the pedestrian crossing. Look for the Karhunpesä sign and reindeer park advertisement on the right.
Drive up to the parking area. There is limited parking space for larger groups in our private yard. A larger public parking area is available in front of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia.
