Enjoy a unique lunch or a three-course dinner with wine at our White Reindeer Lappish Hut in the Reindeer Park, surrounded by nature and tame reindeer. The cozy hut accommodates approximately 35 diners with log tables and benches, and there is additional seating around the campfire to experience the ambiance of an open fire. The teepee hut has been used for intimate nature weddings, birthdays, and hosting foreign guests. It also serves as a lunch or dinner venue for meetings held at the Bear's Nest log cottage.

Choose one menu for your group. Special dietary requirements and beverage orders should be communicated at least a week before the event. The hut has a liquor license.

Menu 1: Creamy salmon soup, bread, water, Pancake with berry jam, Campfire coffee / tea

Menu 2: Creamy wild mushroom soup, bread, water, Game stew with mashed potatoes, Lingonberry compote, Pickles, Mixed berry dessert with caramel sauce, Campfire coffee / tea

Menu 3: Smoked reindeer soup, bread, water, Glow fried salmon on-site, Root vegetables, Mixed berry dessert with caramel sauce, Campfire coffee / tea

Hut reservation 360€ + menu 1, total: 820€, additional persons at 46€ each

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Commuter trains U, L, E from Helsinki Railway Station to Espoo (8 stops/25 min) and bus no 245 from Espoo to Nuuksio. The bus stop is right next to the train tracks. Get off the bus at PUNJONSUO bus stop
(27 stops/23 min) which is two stops after the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia (big brown wooden building on the left). Walk a little bit forward and turn right after the crosswalk. Sign "Karhunpesä" and a reindeer advertisement.

DRIVING DIRECTION: Helsinki - Turku motorway - Nupurintie - Nuuksiontie Turn right to Kehä III (Ring III east) from Turku motorway after IKEA. Take the first exit and turn left (Veikkola). Go under Kehä III and drive along the Nupurintie (road no 110). Drive about 5 km and turn right: Nuuksio/Solvalla. After passing Haltia, the Finnish Nature Centre (brown wooden building on the left), drive 1,1 km and turn right after the crosswalk. Sign Karhunpesä and reindeer advertisement on the right. Drive up to the parking place. There is limited parking space for bigger groups at our private yard, larger public parking place is in front of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia.
