Stay in an eco-friendly Igluhut made of shingles at Nuuksio Reindeer Park, located in the heart of Nuuksio National Park, approximately 30 km (30 minutes by car) from the center of Helsinki and the airport. If you’re using public transportation (commuter train and bus), it’s advisable to allocate about an hour for the journey.
Upon arrival at 3 PM, your accommodation includes a brief, approximately 30-minute private visit with a guide to the Reindeer Park. The hut is also equipped with a bucket of lichen, which you can use to feed the reindeer from the window.
Please note that there are no grocery stores within the National Park. The nearest café/restaurant is at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, about one kilometer from the Reindeer Park. You can check Haltia’s opening hours from this link: https://haltia.com/en/
The closest grocery stores are located approximately 15 km away. The hut is equipped with a mini-fridge for your snacks, and you can also order breakfast supplies and evening snacks from us in advance.
