Experience a touch of northern magic – at Finland's southernmost reindeer park in Nuuksio!
Just a short trip from Helsinki, you can meet our friendly reindeer, feed them lichen, and enjoy traditional campfire coffee in a cozy Lappish hut. Nuuksio Reindeer Park offers a unique, year-round experience for the whole family.
Duration of Visit
The area is not very large, so one hour is enough for a relaxed visit. To avoid the busiest times, we recommend arriving gradually throughout the opening hours — the most crowded time is usually right when the gates open.
Entrance Fees
€14 / €26 / €64 – includes:
✓ Lichen to feed the reindeer
✓ Campfire coffee (or tea/juice) and a bun in a Lappish hut
✓ In December, we serve warm glogg and gingerbread cookies
✓ A small souvenir shop is open during visiting hours

Arrival
Parking space at the reindeer park is limited. We recommend arriving by public transport. The nearest larger parking area is at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, about 1 km before the park.
Accessibility
The path from the parking area to the park is about 60 meters of wide duckboards, with a few steps at the end. As the terrain is uneven forest ground, unfortunately the park is not fully accessible for all.
